Snap priority

When you click with a drawing tool the point is taken from the first of these that is within the cursor tolerance (S-FRAME's grid-point / joint / member priority). Each mode can be switched off in the Grid Definitions dock.

  1. Grid intersections (grid)
  2. Joints (node)
  3. Member midpoints (midpoint)
  4. Points on members (member)
  5. Grid lines (line)
  6. Free point (free)

With Extend Grid Scope on, the intersections of lines of two different grids count as grid points and a grid line crossing a member is an insertion point on that member.
