Steel design

S-STEEL: code check a member (p877), design groups (p793).

Members whose section is an AISC shape are checked to AISC 360-22 LRFD for every linear combination: envelope demands along the member, axial, flexure about both axes, shear, and the H1 interaction with coincident forces. The dock lists ratio, governing check, combination and clause, colours the members by utilisation, and Report… writes the S-STEEL-style HTML report.

Design Groups (Model Manager) hold members that must share a section; Size groups picks the lightest admissible shape of the group's types within its depth limit and assigns it. Design length is the physical member's length; Lb, K factors, Cb and Fy come from the group with per-member overrides.
